We recently represented a sophisticated corporate scheme in an indirect acquisition of real property for business development in a highly regarded Greek island. The project of a total estimated value of 4 million Euro is in progress.

The firm actively represents clients who are primarily foreigners who wish to develop and finance investments in real estate assets in Greece and abroad. Ownership transfer of real estate belonging to a foreign company in Attica worth a total of 4 million Euro coupled with resolution of a range of legal problems such as removal of encumbrances, re-negotiation of loan agreements, exporting foreign exchange, etc.).
LIQUIDATION OF INVESTMENT
We have assisted a traditional client of our firm to conclude the liquidation of its investment in Romania which included the transfer of his interests/ownership rights over a Commercial Mall in Bucharest (the total value of the relevant transaction was in excess of 10 million Euros overall).
HOTEL GEORGIA SALE
We advised a client in relation to his way out/liquidation of an investment made in Georgia and related to the transfer of ownership/control over a Resort Hotel in this country.

We have represented a large number of clients, both Greek and foreigners, in transactions of property sale and purchase, acquisitions by reason of inheritance, bank-loan funding, negotiations with banking institutions, etc, and we have provided our services from the initial stages of the procedure – legal due diligence of the property, coordination of all professionals involved in the procedure, such as civil engineers, real estate agents, accountants, notaries, etc – up to the legal review and execution of the final notarial deed.

Furthermore, we have also successfully handled a long-lasting litigation related to a real estate property located in a Greek island, in which complex issues had to be dealt with and multiple experts’ opinions were conducted by virtue of a preliminary Court decision. REAL ESTATE – CORPORATE LAW
Our firm also represented the shareholders of a Societe Anonyme which owns a very big real estate property in Chios island. We advised them on corporate issues regarding liquidation of the company, such as the authorities and responsibilities of the liquidators, the alternatives that the liquidators have regarding the relevant proceedings and issues of changing liquidators both by a court decision and by the General Meeting of shareholders.
INVESTMENT IN GREEK ISLAND
The Clients are a family from Latin America who are investing in the real estate sector worldwide. Our firm provided legal advice in the fields of real estate and corporate law in Greece regarding the purchase of two land plots in the Greek island of Paros with total value if the transactions exceeding 1 million Euros.
REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT – MARSEILLE
We represent an international client in the exploitation of his interests expressed in shares in a French S.A., owning properties in a newly built commercial mall in the old part of Marseille, valued more than 4 million Euros, including review and approval of rental proposals and lease agreements as well as negotiations for the sale of his shares.
ITALIAN INDIVIDUAL – PAROS ISLAND
We advised an Italian client on the purchase of two plots of land in Paros island, Greece, valued approx. 1.5 million Euros. Since the legal status of the plots is very complicated, it was challenging to protect our client’s interests as the legal and technical due diligence conducted revealed some serious problems.
REAL ESTATE LAW – INHERITANCE – TAXATION
Our firm is providing assistance and legal advice to a Greek-Belgian family that wishes to arrange its property issues in Greece. After the death of the two parents, our company is providing legal assistance to two of their heirs regarding the registration of their parents’ real estate property in the National Land Registry as well as the arrangement of the procedures for the acceptance of the inheritance and the transfer of the real estate property to their heirs.
BELGIAN NATIONAL – REAL ESTATE PROPERTY
Our firm has represented another Greek – Belgian nationals who possess real estate property in Greece. We have represented them before the National Land Registry and we have taken the appropriate steps to ensure the correct registration of their real estate property.
SOUTH OF FRANCE – LUXURY PROPERTY – SALE – BRIDGE FINANCING
We represent a wealthy individual in a sale of a piece of land and house of a total value of 5 million Euro through a sophisticated structure of underlying entities whilst at the same time taking into legal account issues related to inheritance rights, bank loans, mortgages, etc. The property is in the South of France.
RUSSIAN CITIZEN – INHERITANCE OF REAL ESTATE IN GREECE
Our firm has provided assistance and legal advice to the parents of a deceased Russian individual, who passed away without any will, on the law regarding the inheritance of a real estate property in Greece. In addition, we cooperated with a Russian law firm on issues of the Russian inheritance law and we represented them before the Greek tax authorities and the Greek land registry.
REAL ESTATE TRANSFER – TRUST
We have also dealt with the sale of a property located on a Greek island and belonging to a foreigner who was declared bankrupt in his country of origin; in this framework, we have represented the trustee in bankruptcy appointed by the foreign Courts and acted on his behalf in carrying out all necessary steps for the sale of the property, the payment of bank loans, taxes and duties owed to the Greek State, etc, and the payment of the remaining purchase price to the insolvency estate.
