GALA & IAA Release Updated Edition of Guide to Privacy Laws Affecting Marketers Around the World

The GALA Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance and the IAA (International Advertising Association) have released the second edition of their two-volume guide Privacy Law: A Global Legal Perspective on Data Protection Relating to Advertising & Marketing. The more than 800 page guide provides a comprehensive look at how privacy and data protection laws affect advertising and marketing in more than 70 countries around the world. The Greek chapter of the guide was drafted by our privacy team at A. & K. Metaxopoulos and Partners Law Firm (GALA member for Greece).

The second edition provides important updates to privacy laws that have occurred since the book was originally published in 2020. As it did in the first edition, the guide also provides detailed information about how to comply with privacy laws in the European Union.
