FRENCH DAIRY PRODUCTS MULTINATIONAL
Acting at first for a multinational dairy products industry and then for a multinational telecommunications company, the firm played a decisive role in resolving all corporate and tax issues and in obtaining an official position from the Greek taxation authorities in relation to the issue of taxation of the transfer of shares contributed in kind in share capital increases of third companies.<\/p>

TAX ON ARTISTS’ ROYALTIES
We provided tax advice to a wide range of high net worth individuals and also provided our advice on the fiscal treatment in Greece of royalties paid to professional artists and authors.<\/p>

TAXATION \u2013 CHINA\/GREECE TREATY
We advised one of our clients, VM on the tax treatment of proceeds received by the exploitation of the DVD\/video rights on Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, in the light of the agreement for the avoidance of double taxation between China and Greece.<\/p>

TAX ADVICE TO INDIVIDUALS
We have also advised Russian nationals as well as Belgian nationals who inherited real estate properties in Greece about the relevant tax regime and their obligations toward the Greek Tax Authorities and we have represented them before the Tax Authorities.<\/p>

INTERNATIONAL CROSS BORDER TAXATION
We assist UK nationals who is a tax resident of Greece and has several investments abroad in relation to his tax position.<\/p>

GREECE \u2013 POLAND TAXATION TREATY
Our firm has provided a legal opinion to a wealthy Polish investor on tax and corporate issues (including our opinion on the bilateral treaties for the avoidance of the double taxation, income tax issues.<\/p>

AIRBNB TAXATION
Our firm has provided legal advice to a wealthy Lebanese investor on tax issues regarding the short-term lease of a 250sqm villa in a Greek island, including issues of applicable tax law, the income tax and the capital controls regime that is still in force in Greece.<\/p>

Our firm has also provided a legal advice to individual businessmen on various tax issues, including:<\/strong><\/p>

a) Advice to a Greek businessman in the field of entertainment business, who planned to establish a Cypriot holding company, on issues regarding the terms of the treaty about the avoidance of the double taxation between Greece and Cyprus, the taxation of dividends both in Greece and Cyprus and the tax in Greece for transferring the shares of the Greek company to Cyprus.<\/p>

b) Advice regarding the Special Real Estate Tax imposed on assets located in Greece that are owned by companies which they do not reveal their beneficiary owner.<\/p>
